Women with strong ties to the NWA are being honored by Syngenta Vegetable Seeds as part of the International Year of the Woman Farmer 2026. The National Watermelon Queen Katelyn Lindsay; Kerri Lee Wiggins, NWA’s Promotions Coordinator and a member through Wiggins Farms; Megan McKenna of the National Watermelon Promotion Board and Carrie Thomas of Diamond 99 Watermelon Sales, who serves as President of the Florida Watermelon Association, are all featured as women making an impact across agriculture. We’re proud to see Katelyn, Kerri, Megan and Carrie recognized and we celebrate the many women whose leadership and contributions strengthen the watermelon industry.
