Zachary Collins grew up working on his Fourth Generation family farm, DMC Farms. He aspires to continue the family business and build his knowledge in the industry through education at Delaware Technical College and the Future Watermelon Farm Leaders Program. By participating in FWFL, Zachary also looks to give back to the industry and association that has benefited his family farm, as well as build relationships with other industry personnel. 
"I see how public policy and regulations are having a huge impact on farming. Being from a small state I have had the opportunity to meet with our Governor and Senators. This relationship is important as I am able to have some input. Being apart of this program will allow me to gain knowledge so I can speak credibly to our local and national legislators."
