The Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has shared updated guidance for agricultural employers using the H-2A program. This guidance includes instructions on how to check the status of petitions and raise processing concerns.
USCIS continues to provide expedited processing for H-2A Form I-129 petitions. Employers can check case status online and, if a petition has been pending more than 15 days without a decision or request for evidence, may contact the USCIS Contact Center directly. Employers can send an email to USCIS-H2A@uscis.dhs.gov for general concerns or petition-specific inquiries (case details may only be shared with authorized parties).
