NWA joined the National Watermelon Promotional Board, NWPB in Washington DC for one of their largest promotions, supporting the 48th Marine Corps Marathon, held on Oct. 29. We are appreciative of our extraordinary Queen Olivia Johnson, Executive Director George Szczepanski representing the NWA during this big promotional event alongside volunteers, State Watermelon Queens, and coordinators who devoted time as they cheered for team Watermelon while giving out free watermelon to participants. Seeing so many watermelon smiles, including some of our nation's finest, the US Marine Corps, with 3,000 working at the marathon, was a delight.
